  1. Start online application or download PDF forms
  2. Enter data about parents and child(ren)
  3. Attach attachments (e.g. attachment for children, if applicable, abroad)
  4. Send digitally or send signed by post
  5. Wait for feedback from the family benefits office (approx. 4–6 weeks)
  6. Child benefit is transferred monthly

  • Child from 18: up to 25 if studying, training or working less than 20 hours/week
  • Refugees & third-country nationals: individual assessment + note information sheets
